some (non-sequiter) thoughts on my mind
the act of creating is very exciting and inspiring--giving energy anew and fresh meaning to our daily efforts.
in order to live a life without regrets, you must let go of fear. do the best you can and there isn't anything to regret.
decisions based on fear cannot possibly lead you to happiness. the trick is to be aware enough to know when it is fear and when it is truly a concern.
a safe and uneventful life doesn't mean a successful life. take some risks. they may feel unsafe, but can lead to surprising and wonderful results. besides, they make for great stories. :)
find your passion. follow it, no matter what the cost. compromise in following your passions means you're compromising who you are and losing yourself guarantees unhappiness. besides, in following your passions you become an expert at what you like doing. if you do something else, you become an expert at something you don't really want to do.
there is always an option, it's whether you're willing to take it.
