When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.
- Desiderius Erasmus (15th century philosopher, humanist, theologian)

for me... food and books go hand in hand.

mmmm.... sushi. mmmmm.... books. sushi. books. sushi! books!

clothes come later. :)

once i get through some of my books, i'll get more books. i put a moratorium on purchases until i return other people's stuff, get through others, etc. you know how slowly i read. "[ oh, and i don't think that "pamela," or "clarissa" (by samuel richardson) for that matter, should be on that list. such bad writing! hit-yourself-over-the-head-to-make-it-stop bad writing. even my english prof. told us it was bad...she still made us read it though. "p ptui!
