blood donation didn't go too well...

i was probably too complacent.

i only drank 4 cups of water last night and 4 this morning and apparently i wasn't hydrated enough. we tried a different vein than last time and it went poorly.

so now i'm sitting at home with my right arm gimpy, growing a bruise, staying away from painting and drawing to be on the safe side. i probably shouldn't be typing since this is sending little twinges to my arm.

unfit for survival comes to mind as i was sitting next to this woman whose arm wanted to give another pint of blood. she filled it up in like 5 minutes. lucky duck.

ok. that's it for typing for now. i'm going to read a book and try to draw a straight line with my left hand if i like certain quotes and flipping pages with my left hand.

i'm moping. can you tell? :)

update: pictures of my resulting bruise after removing the bandage in the extended. it's pretty funky.

what i find interesting is the slight blue tinge from bleeding internally doesn't show up in the picture at all. the streak is only the surface bruise, which probably resulted from the point of the needle and is slightly swollen up from the rest of my skin. EWWWWWWW.
