concerts i want to attend...
Howie Day with Stereophonics at Warfield on 2/28, sat @ 8pm.
and in looking that up, i found out that Liz Phair is also playing at warfield on 3/1, mon @ 8pm.
i could probably make it to the howie day concert, but not the liz phair, as i have class till 630pm that day.
too bad sj is a cultural void that gets avoided by all concerts. :P

Is SJ really a concert cultural void, or only for certain level concerts? Stuff that's too big for a regular club, but too small for the Arena? (Like Liz Phair)

well.... i've seen tori amos play in the sj performance arts center before. so i don't know that it's necessarily for a lack of appropriately sized space.
it just feels like there isn't as much stuff going on down here. this probably has a lot to do with my being spoiled in berkeley. they had a lot of stuff (most of which i didn't have time to attend, darn it all) and sf was really close, so i could catch musicals and shows when i did actually find the time.
