no longer stranded in LA
i don't know if people could tell, but i'm no longer stranded in LA. after waiting 50 minutes on the phone to talk to a SWA agent on sunday night, i rebooked for a 1245pm flight out of LA on monday. from then on, i was checking on the status of my flight online. it started the day off by being delayed to 118pm.
then 141pm
then 225pm
then 300pm.
i was pondering on driving up to san jose, but both my mom and parakkum didn't want me to. they preferred my waiting at the airport to catch the plane.
in the end, i had lunch with my mom, came back to the airport around 2, waited until 315ish to board, and our plane took off at 4. by the time i got home, it was 7.
so i was only a day late in returning. :p :)
i think the ashes in the air were making me sick. sunday night, i ran a fever and had difficulty breathing with muscle and joint aches like those from flus. i plan on seeing a GP about this at some point, because i don't want to have pneumonia again.
right now, i'm coughing up the rest of the ashes that are in my lungs and watching my bunnies play. i was really happy to pick them up this morning.
i think beau is a little put off that i ditched them for the weekend. he hasn't given me any bunny kisses yet.
he's also shedding right now, which makes him look like a really weird stuffed animal. his fur is so ugly, it's cute. :)
