i think my parents and
i think my parents and i get along infinitely better in person than on the phone. on the phone, it's as though all their anxieties come stringing out from the dark recesses of their mind to their mouth and into the mouthpiece.
it's awful. really. 
but yeah... i actually had a very pleasant weekend with them. it was pretty short, because i drove down friday night with a friend and we drove up earlier this afternoon. so nothing like the 4-5 day trips i usually plan to take home, but it was great.
i finally saw finding nemo with my sister. the movie is scary. i do NOT want to be a small fish. and just when i was considering learning to go under water, they show all these big scary fish and now i'm reconsidering again.
it was good though. i could see why my personality test finally told me that i was a nemo. funny that i'm a small fish with a gimp-arm. i guess it's all those issues. 
and i got to eat hawaiian cake. yummmmm. i have decided that i want hawaiian cake at my wedding. those things are the best. either that or cheese cake.
after all, there are always leftovers at weddings. better be ones i'll actually want.
my friend's pilot is a pretty nice car. it better be. it's new and pricey. still... it's sorta pretty, for an suv, i guess. i'm not a huge suv fan. i like small and cute cars like jettas and bugs. her navigation system is killer. i mean... it's GPS so you'd hear this voice tell you when you have to make a right turn or a left turn, go straight. blah blah...
it was kinda freaky. and if it didn't cost 2 grand i would want on in my car too. 
i'm a little tired right now and not coherent so i think this is all for tonight.
