So is it just me, or do you ever have an IM chat with someone and it leaves you unsatisfied? Not sure what I was looking for with my recent chats, but of the 3 recent ones I had this afternoon, only 1 was any good (made me feel marginally better than the incredibly crappy I was feeling). One made me feel worse (par for the course, why do I talk to that person?), and one was just there. Don't you sometimes wonder why people IM you if they don't want to talk?
Oh, and I forgot to let folks know that I did finally get a new ipod.
More rambling in the extended.
I got the 60gig photo ipod. I think I have all of 12gigs right now of music, but that's cool. I gave my old one to my mom as she had killed hers by getting it wet. She jokingly asked if I'd buy her a PSP. I mentioned this to a friend who bought one and is thinking of selling it. I need more gadgets like I need a hole in the head, but I did think of buying it from him for fractionally more than a millisecond. Sigh. I can't figure out how to actually get my photos onto the ipod yet, but I'll do it soon. I have to so that I can justify the reason I ostensibly bought it (which is to be able to download my photos to it while I'm in europe in September). In the further spirit of rationalizing I'm thinking I'll bring download my contacts as well so that I can write postcards from the road. (Yeah, right, like I blogged last time while I was there.)
Not much else really going on with me - hanging with friends, watched fireworks over the weekend from the comfort of a hotel suite (that was a damned good idea), etc.
