I know it's been a while, but this was an interesting enough subject for me to do at least a "me too". Hm... the more I thought about these, I wonder if I'm grading these on the "I'm a girl" scale?
1. Had a very expensive car that I drove on two race tracks.
(see extended)
2. Voluntarily went white-water rafting even though I don't swim well and was terrified 98% of the time.
3. Been to 3 different continents for work (Asia, Europe, N.America - which hardly counts).
4. Been the top-ranked science student in my high school one year.
5. Did a marathon. (Well, it was a walking marathon, but 26.2 miles is 26.2 miles. And I know some of you have done that, but then my friends are exceptional.)
6. Been into St. Peter's and not been hit by lightning.
7. Brought my best (female) friend to a company christmas party on a leash/dog collar while dressed in pink silk and wearing pearls.
8. Bought my house with no help from spouse/parents.
9. Things which mean I can't run for public office.
10. Lived for 6 months as a teenager with no tv.
(I'm feeling like there are better ones than on this list, but I'm not thinking straight.)
I was thinking about the fact that I've been in lots of various museums, but not sure if I've visited more than kwc or meta (they've at least documented them better than I have I'll bet). So let's have it folk, how many museums in various cities have you visited?
Berlin (2)
London (3) Tower of London,
Bath
Paris (2)
Florence (3) Uffizi, Bargello, Accademia
Rome (2)
Amsterdam
Cologne
Brussels
(shit, I skipped it in Singapore)
San Francisco (3?) Legion of Honor, De Young, MOMA
Seattle (2)
San Jose (3) Tech, Museum of Art, Rosicrucian
Santa Clara
Venice? (can't remember if I went to a museum, or if I'm thinking of churches?)
Hm... maybe I'll try the list some time with churches.
